Play Of The Day: Shorty Goes Long – 11/26/11

The Play of the Day goes to The Kid, Shorty–sorry, I didn’t catch his name–who was eating up the field all day long.

But on this play, he caught the pass up the seam, split two defenders, and streaked down the field with two defenders trailing him as he turned a 20 yard pass into a 90 yard touchdown.

And for that, Shorty gets The Play of the Day.

Turkey Bowl Play Of The Day

Jeff organized a Thanksgiving evening touch football game under lights in 50 degree weather and it was glorious!

Rick earned the Play of the Day and wasted no time earning it. Rick showed up late and had to enter after the game was already in progress.

Jeff graciously asked him if he wanted to play quarterback and Rick, of course, accepted.

Rick surveyed the field, said Hut, and then found a receiver streaking down the seam and delivered the ball to his teammate in the end zone for a sixty-yard score.

The first time Rick touches the ball, he tosses a touchdown. And for that, he gets Play of the Day.
